The off season transfer window has seen a lot of promising activity for Juventus. It appears that Alessio Secco is finally learning how to job. Even though the transfer window isn't over I've decided to construct my preffered line-up for the new season. FORZA JUVE!!!

Bench. Manninger, Legrottaglie, De Ceglie, Zanetti, Marchisio, Giovinco and Amauri
I think that this is the optimal line-up for the season. There were a few hard choices to make whilst configuring this line-up. The first was choosing Cannavaro over Legrottaglie. Legro has been very impressive for Juve for two seasons now, however Fabio has been in good form in preseason matches and was one of the better players for Italy at the Confederation Cup (still wasn't impressive however). Cannavaro also has superior leadership skills than Legrottaglie, so he wins this duel.
The second difficult choice for me came when deciding whom to choose out of Molinaro or De Ceglie. I'm a big fan of both these players. At the beginning of his Juventus career I thought that Molinaro was the worst player I had seen play for Juve, however he plays with his heart and always gives 100% and has improved greatly over the last 2 seasons and if he starts whipping some good crosses into the penalty area he could be a very impressive left-back. De Ceglie for me has an interesting future at Juventus. He has a heaps of potential (remember him verse A.C. Milan); in his bag of tricks he has great pace, an excellent cross and he is a decent dribbler. Unfortunatley De Ceglie leaves a lot to be desired defensively and he is inconsistent.
The third and final selection headache I had was who to partner Del Piero with. In the end I decided on Iaquinta over Amauri. Iaquinta's end of season form and the passion and hunger that he plays with really impresses me and in the end tipped the scales in his favour. He is also Italian and helps add to the "Italian Identity" that should always be within Juventus.
With this starting line-up I believe we would be a match for any team in Serie A. I am not saying that this team is without it's weaknesses however. FORZA JUVE!!!
